Soon enough though, it was time for a warming mocha on the side of the pool (in cosy dressing gowns) and warming up in the sauna, jacuzzi and steam room! Everything was amazing, but one of my favourite parts was actually the 'boudoir' - a room filled with dressing tables, hairdryers and ghds and chilled water - perfect for feeling refreshed and ready for lunch.
Moorish and Mediterranean cuisine is apparently a major influence on head chef, Freddie Bird, which really came through in the dessert of goats curd, pistachio and walnut borek. I was absolutely stuffed, but just couldn't resist (and was far too eager to even take a picture!).
Overall, we had a fantastic day being completely indulgent and relaxing in one of my all time Bristol favourites, enjoying the classic and elegant Lido design, as well as the beautifully crafted menu. Has anybody else been to this Lido, or has one to recommend?
